From the end of September began the campaign of corn that will last until December. Our partners in the Cooperative bring us corn directly from the field, freshly harvested, without touching the ground.

Once the corn has arrived to our factory, it goes first of all to our quality department, being examined at laboratory in order to confirm everything is fine. From there, it goes to our two corn drying, which capability for 60 tons per hour.

Another important point is to set the parameters of temperature and time in order to achieve a completely homogeneous drying of grain from outside to inside, keeping intact all the properties of corn and ensuring its conservation until the next campaign. Our dryers are driven only by our superior technicians.

Corn in our area, the Ebro Valley, is a very high quality product due to our dry weather (lack of rains), together with our great irrigation from Ebro river, one of the biggest rivers in Spain. Furthermore, Zaragoza is always affected by strong wind…uncomfortable for us but excellent for the grain, helping to get this low-humidity corn.

Cultivating corn in these conditions, help avoiding the threatened mycotoxins, allowing an optimal growing and development of our grain, for the production of our animal-feed.

QUALITY BEGINS IN THE RAW MATERIAL. In Agroveco we are aware this is the first and basic step. All raw materials have the same name but they are not the same…and animals are also aware of this.
